529 App Solutions is a veteran and women owned small business. We are focused on providing mobile App solutions to businesses in the travel and tourism industries. Our whole community approach focus is on Convention and Visitor Bureaus and their Eat-Shop-Stay establishments. 529 App Solutions uses multiple emerging technologies in order to give our hospitality clients an edge in the fast growing mobile market and to enhance client’s marketability while dramatically increasing revenues and reducing costs.

Mike is a Military Officer and entrepreneur with eleven years leadership experience in developing people, processes and technology.

On October 11, 2001, after the events of 9/11, Mike postponed his senior year of college and enlisted into the United States Army National Guard. Mike’s eleven year record both domestically and internationally as an Armor and Intelligence Officer shows his full potential as a highly capable leader who will strive to exceed the standards in any mission.

While serving in Kosovo in 2007 as a Liaison Officer with French NATO forces, Mike was able to bridge the gap between Albanian citizens and Serbian business owners through an interactive community approach that helped stabilize the tense region of northern Kosovo. This is where Mike’s vision of creating a whole community approach to mobile communications began.

Mike recently completed an assignment in Washington D.C. with the National Guard Bureau to build, test and launch the first Homeland Response Force (HRF) in the nation. The HRF is a 566 man element that is a Federal and State Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear response force. This mission continued to shape Mike’s vision for bridging community and mobile. Cognitive decision making tools including virtual collaborative workspaces, integrated virtual staff training, and powerful map-based emergency management data leveraging were instrumental for the whole community approach methodology. Mike took the lessons learned from his military experience, and on 5/29/2012 529 App Solutions, LLC was born.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship from John Carroll University and a Masters Degree in Intelligence Operations from American Military University.
Born in Northeast Ohio, Mike is a diehard Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan.  

   


Renee is a Graphic Designer and entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in design and creative direction. Her multi-disciplined brand development experience (Planning, Management, Operations, Entrepreneurship) and leadership capabilities has allowed her to quickly build teams to solve complex brand challenges and drive strategic visions. She is able to optimize the talents of others through collaborative team-based methodologies and systematic management techniques so that ideas and goals can be converted into accomplishments.

Over the past ten years, Renee has worked with a retail development and marketing firm as their Creative Director, as well as running her own design business. She has a wide range of expertise from developing full branding and marketing campaigns for large corporations to helping start up businesses establish their brand and hit the market. Some of her notable clients include: The Merchandise Mart; Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas; Super Bowl XLII; Gladys Knight’s Jewelry Line; and Solage Calistoga.

Renee is an Ohio University graduate with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. The design program at Ohio University places emphasis on providing an understanding of the designer’s personal and social responsibility, developing the student’s capacity for critical thinking, stimulating imagination, problem solving and innovation. While at OU she spent a lot of late nights in the design studio perfecting her work, which is still with her today with the 5 to 9 work hours.
